EarlyON Child and Family Centres

EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide programming for children and families.  We offer a range of services and resources where you can:

• join fun activities such as storytelling, arts, science, sing-alongs and games
• get advice from professionals trained in early childhood development
• find out about other family services in your community
• connect with other families with young children

Program Descriptions;
Play & Learn: Child-led and a play-based approach to support healthy child development while engaging children and their parents or caregivers.  Sensory experiences, songs, rhymes and stories are provided for continued childhood growth.  Open to children ages 0-6 years old and their families. 
Baby Play: Families with children aged 0-18 months can play, learn and explore.  Parents and caregivers can ask questions related to feeding, growth and development, and community resources.  

The following are monthly highlighted programs that do NOT require registration.

Well Baby with a Public Health Nurse
Parents and caregivers of babies ages 0-18 months attend a Baby Play program to get support with breastfeeding, growth and development, maternal health, and more from a Public Health Nurse.  Drop-in during Baby Play programs in;

Virtual Circle Time
EVERY

Parents and Caregivers with their infants aged 0-12 months come together weekly for 4 sessions for conversations, songs & rhymes.

Join us for active toddler fun with climbing, crawling, balancing, jumping, and exploring movement through playful activities.

Young Parents Nutrition Workshop 
Intended for parents ages 24 & under. Join us for family friendly meal prep in partnership with the Young Parents program. Caregivers who attend will receive a cookbook and child minding will be available

Have questions about your child’s development? Come during Play & Learn to have a developmental screen completed with us.

Planting Seeds of Hope Children’s Lands Canada Trip 
Outdoor learning to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for the natural world. Through hands-on experiences, your child will explore the outdoors that encourages learning through discovery. Near Caledonia Nov. 5 at 1:30 PM

Simcoe Young Parents Play & Learn 
In partnership with H-N REACH Young Parents Program drop-in for additional Play & Learn intended for caregivers ages 24 years and under for time to connect and play together.
