Family Respite Support
(Children 0 to 18 years of age)
Family Respite Services provides temporary, short-term relief for primary caregivers while ensuring individuals receive safe, supportive, and person-centred care. These services are designed to enhance quality of life, promote independence, and support overall well-being for individuals and their families.
A key component of respite services includes assistance with applications for financial supports through the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS). This includes the coordination of funding with the goal of reducing caregiver stress, promoting stability, and ensuring individuals have access to the supports they need to thrive within their communities.

Eligibility
Children diagnosed with a developmental disability and/or a physical disability (for Special Services at Home).
