Thank you for your feedback!
H-N REACH surveys our community partners every 2 years to hear about how we are doing and to gather their input on areas of future focus.
The following is a summary of what we heard and some of the actions we are taking in response.
- Our partners want to learn more about our services.
In the upcoming year we are engaging in many activities to help our community and partners know more about us.
This initiative is supported through Community Living Ontario, Six Nations Community Living, Haldimand Community Living, Community Living Access, Haldimand-Norfolk REACH, Norfolk Association for Community Living and is supported with Grand Erie District School Board and Brant Haldimand Catholic School Board.

Recognizing Our Award Winners
In 1992 the H-N REACH Merit Award was established. Through this annual award, Haldimand-Norfolk REACH recognizes members of our community who have made a significant contribution to children/youth and/or children/youth services in the Haldimand and Norfolk communities. Nominations for the Award are collected by the Agency staff and the recipients are selected by the Board of Directors.
The Haldimand-Norfolk REACH Merit Award was presented at our 37th Annual General Meeting held at The Lions Club in Caledonia on September 26, 2018 and the Board of Directors of Haldimand-Norfolk REACH elected to acknowledge the incredible community work.
Farren Taylor was this years recipient of the Merit Award. Farren has actively been involved with the Haldimand-Norfolk REACH Youth Advisory Committee since 2016 and was an active contributor to the Haldimand-Norfolk Regional Jack Summit to name a few. Congratulations Farren.
Evert Kuiper Award
Evert Kuiper was a dedicated volunteer driver for Haldimand-Norfolk REACH. He invested his time in supporting the vision of our agency by ensuring participants were able to be where they needed to be. In 2005 he passed away following a car accident while in the line of duty. In addition to his volunteer service at Haldimand-Norfolk REACH, Mr. Kuiper was also an active volunteer with other groups in his hometown of Dunnville. This award is to acknowledge a current volunteer in his memory.
Andrea Culshaw came to Haldimand-Norfolk REACH as a clinical university student. Andrea has contributed her time to Family Services and enhanced capacity for our low-income participants. She continues to volunteer with the Child Clinical Services Walk-in Clinic. We look forward to her continued support and the knowledge and perspective she bring to Haldimand-Norfolk REACH.
as we have employees with severe sensitivities.
