The Arson Prevention Program for Children (TAPP-C)

The Arson Prevention Program for Children (TAPP-C) works together with families to prevent further fire setting behaviour in children and youth. In this program, the Fire Services of Haldimand, the Fire Services of Norfolk and REACH mental health clinicians meet with children, youth and their families to complete an assessment, educate about fire safety, and co-develop a plan to reduce the risk of children and youth continuing to be involved in fire-related behaviours.

Eligibility

Parents, guardians and their children up to 18 years of age who have been involved in fire play or fire setting activities.
