Infant & Child Development Program

REACH Infant and Child Development Program is a home-based program where a trained worker is available to help families who have children with developmental delays.
The Infant and Child Development Worker can:

·        assist the family in identifying a child's strengths and needs;

·        offer suggestions that encourage development;

·        model and offer activities for the family;

·        assist with referrals to other helpful services;

·        advocate with, and on behalf, of the family;

·        and, help with transitions to preschool, junior and senior kindergarten;

 

To be eligible, children must be between birth and five years of age, at risk of a delay, or identified with a developmental delay and reside in Haldimand and Norfolk counties. Referrals can come from parents, legal guardians, or from third parties (with the consent of the family).

There is no cost for this service.
