Home Counselling & Supports for Children & Youth Crisis & Urgent Services Urgent Care Bed Union House
Urgent Care Bed Union House

The Union House Urgent Care Bed will provide accommodations to youth who may be considered "at risk," are age 16 to 18, and who are in need of urgent service. The program will offer a safe and structured environment for youth to reside on a short-term basis. During this time, staff will work 1:1 with the youth.

During their stay, the short-term needs of the youth will be determined in consultation with the youth. Staff will then assist the youth in working towards these desired outcomes. Areas of support may include applying for financial assistance, continuing education, employment preparation, life skills training, and securing long-term housing. Youth leaving this program may be eligible to transition to the Union House program.
