Special Needs Parent Support Group

Mission Statement:

To advocate, educate and increase awareness to all people for children with special needs.

Special Needs Parent Support Group is a parent advocacy group formed in June 2006, after a decision was made by the school board to significantly decrease the number of educational assistant support staff for our children at school.

The focus of our group is to advocate on behalf of our children, their educational rights.  We are committed to creating avenues for positive change by participating in all discussions and decisions that affect our children's safety, health and quality of education.

Meetings are located at CD 98.9 Radio Station, 55 Park Road, Simcoe, Ontario, N3Y 4K8.  These meetings occur every third Tuesday of each month starting at 7:30 pm.
