Licensed Home Child Care is quality child care offered in approved homes throughout the Haldimand and Norfolk counties. All of the caregivers have gone through an intensive screening process and are monitored through monthly scheduled or unscheduled visits. All homes must meet the requirements of the Day Nurseries Act. Our caregivers provide programs that include fun creative activities, outdoor play, healthy meals and snacks, and flexible hours of care all in a safe, secure, home setting. The Licensed Home Child Care Program places emphasis on creating a positive relationship between your child, yourself and your caregiver. REACH’s role is to advocate and support you and your child. Licensed Home Child Care is offered to families with children from infancy to 12 years of age. After this information has been gathered, the Coordinator will provide you with a list of names of caregivers meeting your needs. If there are no caregivers available to meet your needs, your name will be placed on a waiting list, until space comes available. You will be notified as soon as space becomes available.
