EarlyON Child and Family Centres

EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide programming for children and families.  We offer a range of services and resources where you can:

  • join fun activities such as storytelling, arts, science, sing-alongs and games
  • get advice from professionals trained in early childhood development
  • find out about other family services in your community
  • connect with other families with young children

Pre-registration is required to attend in-person programs. To register when in-person programming is available again please email earlyon@hnreach.on.ca with full names of all adults and children attending, telephone number, and email address, along with which program(s) you would like to attend. Pre-registration is not required for virtual programs unless specified.

Program Descriptions and Information:

​Music & Movement: Sing, move, and groove with us on Zoom! Enjoy songs and actions that get us moving!
Story & Circle Time: Enjoy songs, rhymes, and stories on Zoom!
Well Baby with a Health Nurse: Log on for conversations with an Early Years Facilitator and a Public Health Nurse from the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit. Ask questions about infant feeding, sleep, development, and anything else related to being a parent!
Parent Connection: Connect with other parents and EarlyON Facilitators via zoom. Have conversations about parenting, wellbeing, and more!  Pre-registration is required for this zoom. Email earlyon@hnreach.on.ca to register.
Circle Time with Today’s Family: Join our partners from Today’s Family for songs, rhymes and stories! Be sure to use the Today’s Family Zoom code.
Super Saturdays: Join us on Saturday mornings for a variety of special activities for young children!
Infant Massage: In this 5 week program, parents of children aged 0-12 months will learn about bonding with their baby through a variety of infant massage techniques, discussions, and theory topics. Pre-registration is required for this zoom.  Email earlyon@hnreach.on.ca to register.  Spaces are limited. Session Dates: Jan. 24 & 31, Feb. 7, 14 & 28
Take & Make at Home Kits: Pre-register via email by January 13th. Once registered, you will pick up materials for three different activities on January 18th from Dunnville, Caledonia, Simcoe, or Houghton EarlyON sites. Then, join us on Zoom and create with us! You can join either the 11:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. timeslot.
